Terms and Conditions at Himalayan Homestay Booking Policy: A credit card authorisation or an advance deposit equivalent to 1 night stay amount or 50% of the total stay amount, whichever is higher, is required at the time of making the reservation as a guarantee to hold the reservation on confirmed basis. Modification/Cancellation Policy: Modification or cancellation made 15 or days prior to the arrival date shall not incur any cancellation charges. Modification in form of stay reduction or cancellation made between 15 to 3 days prior to the arrival date shall incur cancellation charges equivalent to 1 night stay amount or 50% of the total stay amount, whichever is higher. Modification in form of stay reduction or cancellation made 72 hours prior to the arrival date shall incur cancellation charges equivalent to 100% of the total cancelled stay amount. Payment Policy: Payment can be made using the credit card, payment gateway link or deposit in the bank accoun before the due date. Applicable Taxes- Taxes are as applicable at the time of reservation. Refund Policy: The refund will take 5-7 working days to process. The amount will be credited to the customer's bank account. Arrival & Departure Policy: Check-in time is 12 Pm while Check-out time is 11 Am. Early check-in and late check-out are chargeable as per the Homestay’s policy. It is mandatory for guests to present valid photo identification at the time of check-in. Such documents can be either an Indian Aadhaar Card, Indian Driver’s License, Indian Voter ID card or Indian or International passport. PAN cards are not accepted. Himalayan Eco Homestay reserves the right to refuse check-in in the absence of a valid identification document. Child Policy: Child Sharing for up to two children below 5 years without an extra bed is complimentary. Child Sharing for 1 child above 5 years without an extra bed is charged only for meals and stay. In case of a requirement for an extra bed in the room, charges shall be the same as adult. Child above 12 years and above will be charged the same as adult. Delay in Travel Policy: In case of guest-facing delay or cancellation of flight or train or road trip due to any unforeseen reason, the room cancellation charges will remain applicable as per the applicable cancellation policy. Such unforeseen trip cancellation may not be manifested as the waiver of cancellation charges. Standard Discount Policy: Not two discounts/offers/benefits can be clubbed together. Stay Extension: An extension of stay at Himalayan Eco Homestay is liable to be offered at rate/offer applicable at the time the extension request is made. In case, the original offer at which the reservation was booked has expired at that time, Homestay is not liable to offer a room at the original rates but at current rates on offer. Rights Reserved: • Himalayan Eco Homestay reserves the right to refuse or cancel any reservation without prior information. • Himalayan Eco Homestay reserves the right to refuse check-in in the absence of a valid identification document.
